Meta Muse Charm debuted as a small handheld AI device set to ship by December. The gadget offers a portable way to interact with Muse, Meta’s customizable AI assistant.
The Muse Charm is designed like a Tamagotchi-style keychain, making it easy to carry and always accessible. It supports voice input for real-time AI interaction, has a front-facing camera, and includes a fingerprint sensor for secure access. An action button sits on the side, while interchangeable avatars let you personalize the experience.
Mark Zuckerberg described the Muse Charm as the fastest way to talk to Muse without wearing smart glasses. It packs the full Muse experience into a pocket-sized form, meaning you can set goals, share ideas, and run background tasks directly from the device.
Muse itself can be customized with different personalities and voices, giving users more control over how their AI assistant responds.
The Charm builds on Meta’s broader AI ecosystem, which includes Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses and Meta VR devices. Unlike those wearables, the Charm targets users who prefer a standalone option.
