Apple just released two new iMacs in the Philippines, one with a 21.5-inch display and another with a bigger 27-inch display. Hardware As basic hardware features, the new iMacs carry Intel’s latest Core i5 and Core i7 quad-core processors and are equipped with LED-backlit displays, faster graphics processors, Thunderbolt I/O peripherals and Facetime HD camera. The 21.5-inch iMac features 1920 x 1080 resolution while the 27-inch iMac has a resolution of 2560 x 1440.  The screen has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 16:9 aspect ratio.   The iMac display uses in-plane switching or IPS which lets you view the display from the side.
