HTC is set to release the HTC Wildfire S handset in the Philippines. Availability of this budget Android handset is expected to coincide with the release of the HTC Desire S. The HTC Wildfire S is an upgrade to the HTC Wildfire which made a name for itself in the budget Android phone category. The first Wildfire was one of the cheap Android handsets which paved the way for the increase in Android users. I was an HTC Wildfire user myself and I can say that it was this handset introduced me to the lovely world of Google Android. HTC has introduced rather minor upgrades to the HTC Wildfire S.
