AnTuTu Top 10 for August 2018

The top ten phones are all powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processors, which shows the chipmakers dominance in the market.

At the top of the list we have the Mi Black Shark with an average score  of 289,415. The gaming handset comes with a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM, and liquid cooling which helps keep the heat down allowing for better performance.

Second on the list is the Vivo NEX S with a score of 288,076. It has the same processor and RAM, with its own cooling technology for sustained performance.

At third is the OPPO Find X with 286,293. The handset is more famous for its sliding cameras, but it actually has a lot of power under the hood. It too has a Snapdragon 845 processor and 8GB RAM.

The rest of the phones on the list (all with Snapdragon 845) are as follows: the OnePlus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Mi 8, ASUS ZenFone 5Z, the Mi Pocophone F1, the Mi Mix 2S, and the Samsung Galaxy S9+.

The cheapest device on the list is the Mi Pocophone F1. It is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with a starting price of PHP17,990.

We’ll see in the coming weeks if a non-Snapdragon 845 phone breaks the top 10 when the Huawei Mate 20 series debuts with the Kirin 980 processor.
