Apple Holding an Event on October 4, Possibly to Unveil iPhone 5

AllThingsD reports that the Apple will be holding a media event on October 4,2011.  This is the date the iPhone 5 is expected to be unveiled according to the site’s source.

There has been so many rumors about the iPhone 5, but all are just, well, rumors.  Nothing has yet been confirmed about the iPhone 5.  Not the specs, not the design, not even the name.  Some say it’s iPhone 5, some say it’s iPhone 4S, some say Apple will be coming out with both. Apple is good at putting a lid on its new products and it’s the reason why Apple’s product presentations are highly anticipated, and this is also the reason why most apple products create so much buzz and interest.

The media event on October 4, if the rumor is true, is significant not only because Apple is finally unveiling the next iteration of the iPhone but also because it’s the new Apple CEO Tim Cook doing the announcement, not Steve Jobs.  Personally, I don’t care who is presenting, just unveil the next iPhone. Quick.

  1. The whole world is very much waiting for this one! With the new Tim Cook, this thing would be his stepping stone like of what have Jobs done.
