The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 appears to be just around the corner. Samsung has an event scheduled on August 15 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 is rumoured to be on the agenda. One indication that the new tablet is about to be launched is its appearance in a video ad that was posted on YouTube. The original post has since been removed but it was reposted by another user. The specs were rumoured to be high-end. This may have been confirmed by an early owner of the device in Korea who shared the unboxing pictures and the official specs of the tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, the Korean version at least, runs on a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and features an Exynos 4412 chipset similar to the one on the Galaxy S III. It also features 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.9-megapixel front camera, and 7000 mAh battery. The 10.1-inch display sports a 1280×800 pixel resolution.
