Samsung launches Galaxy A08 with big battery

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A08 in Singapore, offering a budget-friendly phone with a large battery, AI features, and durable design. The device is priced at SGD 278 (~PHP 13,606 / USD 220) and is now available through Samsung stores and online retailers.

The Galaxy A08 comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD running at 90Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99+ chip paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone also has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

For cameras, the A08 has a 50MP main sensor with a 2MP depth lens, while the front packs an 8MP selfie shooter. It also features IP64 dust and splash resistance.

On the software side, it runs Android with One UI and comes with up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Samsung Knox Vault is included for hardware-based data protection.

Samsung added AI tools like Circle to Search with Google, Find the Look, and music recognition. The phone also supports multiple AI agents for app integration.

The Galaxy A08 is available in Dark Blue, Silver, and Green. It is priced at SGD 278 (~PHP 13,606 / USD 220). SG buyers can get it at Samsung Experience Stores, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, iShopChangi, and major IT retailers.
