Samsung Galaxy A15 starts getting One UI 9.0 update globally

Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A15 in more countries. The update, based on Android 17, is now expanding globally after its first release in South Korea.

According to reports, India is among the first markets to receive the new software. For now, Samsung is pushing the update to Galaxy A15 users who joined the One UI beta program.

The update comes with firmware version A156EPXUAFZJC and has a download size of over 300MB. A wider rollout is expected to follow as Samsung brings the software to more users and regions.

One UI 9.0 adds several new features across the system. Samsung has improved Quick Panel customization, giving users more ways to adjust shortcuts and controls. The update also adds a location privacy indicator so users can easily see when apps access location data.

Samsung is also introducing a new Warranty and care section in Settings. Other changes include updates to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility features.

The rollout is another step in Samsung’s Android 17 release for its budget lineup. Although the update is currently reaching beta testers first, regular Galaxy A15 users should see it arrive on their devices soon.
