The Chinese brand Gionee recently launched the Elife E7 Android phone featuring a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3, a 2.5GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 chip and an 16-megapixel camera that uses a Largan M8 lens and 1/2.3-inch sensor with large 1.34µm pixels. This is claimed to be the most sensitive camera as even the rumored Galaxy S5 will only feature a 1.12µm sensor.
The rest of the main specs of the Gionee Elife E7 include a three-mic system, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that matches the 1.4µm sensor of the iPhone 5’s rear camera, NFC, LTE and 2,500mAh battery. There is an option of 16GB storage with 2GB of RAM or 32GB storage with 3GB of RAM. The device has no microSD slot for storage expansion.
For pricing, the 16GB storage with 2GB RAM is priced at $440 while the 32GB variant with 3GB RAM is priced at $530. The Gionee Elife E7 will be available in 40 countries in Latin America, Africa, EMEA and APAC. That should include the Philippines.
