Bose introduces next gen wireless speaker systems

Bose recently announced its newest lineup of SoundTouch Wireless Speaker Systems in time for the holidays. The next generation series is all about connectivity and music streaming via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Next Gen SoundTouch Series

The new SoundTouch family of connected speakers can easily stream your music throughout your room or house. You can connect directly to your phone via Bluetooth, or stream Spotify or Deezer through Wi-Fi and the SoundTouch app.

• SoundTouch 10 wireless speaker measures 8.34″ H x 5.56″ W x 3.43″ D.  It combines Bose’s digital signal processing with the new Unidome transducer, a 2.5″ powerhouse that produces the highest excursion for any transducer of its size in Bose history.  The resulting performance is remarkable.  The SoundTouch 10 plays cleaner, deeper, and louder than any single speaker of its stature.

• SoundTouch 20 and 30 Series III speakers are the updated big brothers to the SoundTouch 10 speaker.  The SoundTouch 30 Series III is Bose’s best-performing   one-piece solution, and the SoundTouch 20 Series III delivers rich, room-filling sound from a more compact enclosure.
• SoundTouch soundbars and home theater systemsare also available,including two soundbars, the SoundTouch 120 and 130 systems; and a 5.1 system, the SoundTouch 520 home theater system.  They’re all immersive for movies and TVand double as wireless music systems. 

Quick Demo

I was invited for a demo of their new SoundTouch system some time back. They invited us to a big condo/hotel room in Makati and had their speakers set up all throughout the different areas and rooms. Unsurprisingly, the sound quality is great. Their products look good. And the way each speaker/system integrates with the app and with each another is seamless.

Bose has always impressed when it comes to their products. They may very well be standard of what makes great speakers.

Pricing and Availability

The Bose SoundTouch 10 wireless music system is Php13,000.00, and the new SoundTouch 20 Series III system and SoundTouch 30 Series III system are available for Php25,000.00 and Php35,000.00, respectively. Bose SoundTouch soundbars and home theater systems are available starting at Php69,000.00. All new SoundTouch systems are sold at select authorized Bose dealers and Bose retail stores.
