HTC’s current flagship, the HTC U11, features “Edge Sense,” pressure sensitive areas on its sides which, when squeezed, will trigger commands such as launching an app, launching Google Assistant, or opening the flashlight.

Its 12MP rear camera with f1.7 lens and OIS holds the top spot in mobile camera phones in DxOMark with a rating of 90 points. It beat giants such as Google Pixel, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

As for the specs, the HTC U11 comes with a 5.5-inch quad HD Super LCD5 display, and an aluminum/glass build. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with a huge 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Like other flagships nowadays, the phone skipped the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of the USB Type-C port. It also has an IP67 water resistance rating, same as the iPhone 7.

The HTC U11 will officially launch on August 2, 2017. Aside from the flagship, the company will also showcase its other smartphones such as the U Ultra, U Play, and Desire 10 Pro.
