The Huawei Nova 2s features a metal and glass build, powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor. It comes in three variants, namely 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB. As mentioned above, it fronts a 6-inch full HD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Like the Nova 2i, the handset boasts a quad camera setup — two at the back and 2 in front. The rear camera has a dual 16MP RGB sensor + 20MP monochrome sensor combo with f/1.8 lenses, PDAF, and a LED flash. While the selfie cameras use a 20MP + 2MP setup with f/2.0 lenses.
Unlike its predecessor, the Nova 2s comes with a front mounted fingerprint scanner/home button. As for the rest of the specs, the phone has a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v4.2 with aptX support, and an audio jack.
The Huawei Nova 2s is currently a China only device, priced at RMB 2,699 for the 4GB/64GB variant, RMB 2,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant, and RMB 3,399 for the 6GB/128GB variant. Converted, that’s roughly Php21,000, Php23,000 and Php26,000, respectively.
No news yet if it will reach Philippine shores.
