Moto X4 Philippines
Another mid-range smartphone debuts in the country as the Moto X4 becomes official in the Philippines.
The Moto X4 features a premium back to back glass build, a dual rear camera setup, and an IP68 water and dust resistance. It comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. It also runs on stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat, and packs a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging.
Looking at the cameras, the handset boasts a dual rear setup of 12MP + 8MP sensors with the second sensor providing a wide-angle view. It is equipped with an f/2.0 lenses and an LED flash. The front camera, on the other hand, is equipped with a 16MP shooter, also with an LED flash.
Priced at Php23,999, the mid-range handset may have its work cut out for it. The phone will be competing against two mid-range favorites that are priced just below Php16k, the Huawei Nova 2i and the OPPO F5. You also have the OnePlus 5T as well, a disruptor with flagship specs and a starting price of Php26,990.
But don’t count the Moto X4 out yet. It may have enough up its sleeve to warrant your attention — water and dust resistance, stock Android, and a dual camera system with a wide field of view. Features not found in today’s current mid-range offerings.
The Moto X4 is now available in stores with a retail price of Php23,999.
