Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and the Galaxy A8+ (2018) Philippines: Price, Availability
Its coming to the Philippines, and features a new design reminiscent of the Galaxy S series. The new members of the Galaxy A (2018) series features a 5.6-inch display for the A8, and the 6.0-inch display for the A8+. The handsets have a glass and aluminum build, and comes with 18.5:9 Super AMOLED Infinity displays that curve into the bezel.
The phones are powered by an octa-core Exynos 7855 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage. It also has IP68 water and dust resistance, and a 3,000 mAh battery for the A8, and a 3,500 mAh battery for the A8+.

As for the cameras, the selfie ones use a dual 16MP + 8MP sensors, while the rear uses a 16MP sensor. To round out the spec sheet, the handsets come with a fingerprint sensor sensibly placed underneath the rear camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and the Galaxy A8+ (2018) will be available in the Philippines near the end of January, with a retail price of Php26,990 and Php32,990 respectively. It will come with a 5,000 mAh Capdase Battery Pack worth Php1,199 at launch day.
