Samsung will roll out One UI 9 to the Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z7 foldables starting September 28, 2026. The update is finally moving beyond the Galaxy S26 lineup, giving last year’s flagships the same refreshed software and some new features.
The confirmed devices will include the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and the Galaxy S25 FE. Owners of these models can expect the new interface and features to arrive soon. Samsung Thailand shared the schedule, giving users a clear timeline for the rollout.
The Galaxy S23 FE will also get One UI 9 in October 2026. This will be its last major OS update since Samsung only promised four for that model. The rest of the Galaxy S23 series will also stop receiving major OS updates after this cycle.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 series already reached the end of its major update support with Android 16 and One UI 8. These devices will continue to receive quarterly security patches, but don’t expect any new OS upgrades.

For users, this rollout means smoother performance and updated features on newer models. If you own a Galaxy S25 or Z7 device, expect One UI 9 to arrive starting September 28. The Galaxy S23 FE will follow in October, closing its update cycle.
