The ASUS ZenFone 5 is coming this quarter 2018. A press event will be made on February 27 at MWC 2018 in Barcelona.
It looks like the ASUS ZenFone 5 is coming this February. The company made an announcement last September 2017 that the new flagship will be coming in the first quarter of 2018.
According to the post by ASUS, it looks like the phones will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. We can also expect different variants, similar to past releases. Aside from the ZenFone 5, there’s already news of a possible ZenFone 5 Max and a ZenFone 5 Lite passing various certifications.

I hope the ZenFone 5 has what it takes to compete against the current crop of smartphones. The past ASUS flagships were mostly hampered by its price. For what its worth, they do have a decent track record when it comes to OS updates. That alone should warrant a consideration in my book.
