Huawei has outdone itself in the smartphone camera department. The Huawei P20 Pro and the P20 are the top 2 best mobile cameras, according to image quality site, DxOMark. How long are they going to stay on top? We’ll find out on the coming days.
But at the moment, the Huawei P20 Pro is the king of smartphone cameras. The handset features a Leica triple camera system of 40MP RGB (f/1.8) + 20MP Monochrome (f/1.6) + 8MP Telephoto (f/2.4).
The P20 Pro received a total score of 109 points, broken down to 114 points for photo and 98 points for video. According to the site, the phone offers good exposure and dynamic range. It also has good bokeh performance, fast and accurate autofocus, and well controlled image noise.
At second, sits the P20. It has a total score of 102 points, with 107 for photo and 94 for video. The phone has similar camera performance as the P20 Pro, with latter having a leg up because of its zooming capabilities.

The Huawei P20 Pro and P20 currently sits at 1st and 2nd, respectively. It is followed by the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus at 3rd, the Google Pixel 2 at 4th, and the Apple iPhone X at 5th.
And in case you missed it, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is 6th on the list. The Chinese company have three phones (well, four if you count the Mate 10 who has the same camera specs as the Pro) in the top 10.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a retail price of EUR 899 (PHP 58,500 or USD 1,120), while the P20 at EUR 649 (around PHP 42,200 or USD 810).
