The Vivo X21 is set to launch in the Philippines today. The handset features Vivo’s In-Display fingerprint scanning technology.

Today’s the day! Vivo is set to launch the X21 in the Philippines today. The handset, which debuted in China last May, comes with an In-Display fingerprint scanning technology that allows users to unlock the phone through the screen.

The Vivo X21‘s highlight feature is the In-Display fingerprint scanning technology that allows users to unlock the phone through the embedded scanner beneath the display. The technology relies on OLED screens for the scanning to work, wherein the sensor peeks in between pixels to identify unique fingerprints.
Aside from the aforementioned in-display fingerprint scanner, the handset also features a large FullView display, dual rear cameras, face unlock, a large storage capacity, ample battery, and support for Hi-Fi audio.
The Vivo X21 will officially launch in the Philippines on June 21, 2018.
