Dark Mode for the YouTube Android app is finally rolling out. The new feature is slowly making its way to Android devices.
YouTube Dark Theme for Android
YouTube first rolled out the new dark theme on iOS a few months ago. This time, it looks like the much awaited feature is slowly making its way to Android devices.
Redditors were one of the first to notice the new theme. It will be available in select regions at first, slowly rolling out to the rest of the world as the days progress. This is likely to contain and minimize errors, in case it happens.

In case you have it already or you want to check if it is available for you, just tap on your avatar on the upper right corner inside the YouTube app. Go to Settings and you should see ‘dark theme’ there. Then just toggle to activate.
Once its activated, all the white areas inside the YouTube app will go dark gray with reverse color fonts. Its certainly nice to have, especially when you’re the type who enjoy watching videos in the dark.
