Google recently announced Android Pie. And Sony is already hard at work on getting the Android Pie ready for its devices. Recently, the company officially announced which of its Xperia handsets will receive the update, targeting a late 2018 to an early 2019 release.
The Japanese company’s premium line will of course be the first to get their hands on it. That includes the Xperia XZ2, the XZ2 Premium, the XZ2 Compact, the Xperia XZ Premium, the XZ1, and the XZ1 compact.
Next in line are owners of the Xperia XA2, the XA2 Ultra, and the XA2 Plus for early 2019.
