Samsung recently announced the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy A8s. The new phone comes with a camera hole on the display.

The battle for the camera hole has begun. Samsung announced that it will launch the Galaxy A8s on December 10, beating Huawei to the punch as the first smartphone to come out with the new design element.

The teaser shows the Galaxy A8s with a camera hole on the upper left hand corner, much like the Huawei Nova 4. The design allows for a near bezel-less face, with a small chin at the bottom.
As for the specs, reports point to a midrange device with a 6.3-inch full HD+ 19.5:9 display, a Snapdragon 710 processor, up to 6GB RAM, a 24MP selfie camera, and triple shooters at the back. This is still all speculation, though, so please take it with a healthy grain of salt.
Anyhow, the smartphone will launch in a few days. We’ll find out soon if the specs are accurate.
