Its business as usual for Realme as they launch a new 5G smartphone in China. The Realme X50m is now official, complete with a 120Hz display.
The handset will be available in China in Galaxy White or Starry Blue starting April 29 with the following prices:
- Realme X50m 6GB + 128GB: CNY 1,999 (around PHP 14,300 or USD 280)
- Realme X50m 8GB + 128GB: CNY 2,299 (around PHP 16,500 or USD 325)
The Realme X50m comes with a 6.7-inch IPS display with a full HD resolution, a pill-shaped punch hole camera, and 120Hz refresh rate. Thanks to its thin bezels and the slight chin, it has an impressive 90.4% screen-to-body ratio.

Inside you have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB USF 2.1 storage. It has a 4,200mAh battery that charges via USB Type-C with 30W Dart fast charging. According to Realme, it can charge the phone up to 70% in just 30 minutes.
At the back are four cameras with a 48MP main shooter. You won’t find a telephoto lens here, but instead has an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP monochrome secondary cameras.
For selfies, the 16MP + 2MP dual setup does the job.

The Realme X50m runs on Realme UI skin on top of Android 10. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a linear speaker with Dolby Atmos support. Conspicuously missing is the 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot.
At this point, there are no news yet if it will come to the Philippines. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the possibility.
