Aside from the Mi Note 10 Lite, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Note 9 and the Note 9 Pro. The handsets feature quad cameras, large 5020mAh batteries, and friendly price tags.
The Redmi Note 9 prices are as follows:
- 3GB + 64GB for USD 199 (around ~PHP 10,000)
- 4GB + 128GB for USD 249 (~PHP 12,600)
The Redmi Note 9 Pro, on the other hand, comes with the following prices:
- 6GB + 64GB for USD 269 (~PHP 13,600)
- 6GB + 128GB for USD 299 (~PHP 15,100)
The handsets are coming to select markets in May. No advise yet if it will come to the Philippines.
Redmi Note 9
The Redmi Note 9 has a 6.53-inch full HD IPS display with a 13MP punch hole selfie camera. It has a 48MP main camera with Samsung GM1 sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth snappers.

The phone also features a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charge. It has a fingerprint scanner at the back, a USB Type-C port, an IR blaster, and a headphone jack.
The Redmi Note 9 comes in green, grey and white.

Redmi Note 9 Pro
The global variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro was also announced. The handset has a 6.67-inch full HD IPS DotDisplay with a Snapdragon 720G processor, 6GB RAM, and either 64GB or 128GB storage.
At the back are four cameras with a 64MP main shooter, supported by an 8MP ultra-wide, a 5MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor.

There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 16MP selfie camera on a punch hole cutout, and a large 5,020mAh battery with 30W fast charge.
