vivo is set to bring its latest flagship camera phones to the Philippines. The vivo X60 and X60 Pro are coming soon, offering Zeiss optics and Exynos 1080 chipsets.
A teaser was posted on vivo Philippines official Twitter account teasing of a new smartphone series and the vivo-Zeiss partnership. Those phones are none other than the vivo X60 series that launched last December 2020.

The upcoming flagships are the company’s first devices to come with Zeiss optics for its camera systems. Around the back are a 48MP main, 13MP ultra-wide and another 13MP sensor for depth. The Pro model takes it up a notch with a fourth 8MP periscope telephoto camera with up to 5 times optical zoom.
Both phones boast of a second generation gimbal technology for enhanced stabilization, 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED displays, 5G Exynos 1080 CPUs, in-display fingerprint scanners, and 32MP selfie cameras.
A third model is expected to launch globally this January with even more powerful specs. The vivoX60 Pro+ was teased to have a Snapdragon 888. But since its not yet official, we’re not expecting that model to come to the country.
We’re eager to see how much these will be priced in the Philippines. We can only make our guestimates based on the Chinese release. In China, the vivo X60 starts at CNY 3,498, while the vivo X60 Pro at CNY 4,498. Converted to local currency, that’s roughly around Php 25,800 and Php 33,100, respectively. Expect pricing to be somewhere north of those.
As for the date of availability, unfortunately its still a mystery at this point. But we’re willing to bet that its coming sooner, rather than later.
