Facebook Messenger adds sound emojis to chats called Soundmojis

Facebook is bringing sound emojis, or Soundmojis, to its Messenger platform. The new feature will allow you to express yourself more with sound effects.

According to Facebook, Soundmoji is the next-level emoji that lets you send short sound clips in a Messenger chat, ranging from clapping, crickets, drumroll, and evil laughter, to audio clips from your favorite artists or TV shows. Each sound is represented by an emoji. The social network says it will also update the Soundmoji library regularly.

Facebook Messenger’s Soundmoji feature is already available in select regions. At the time of this article, it is not yet open to users in the Philippines.
