HBO GO to increase the price of its 3-month subscription plan starting August 21

HBO GO will soon increase the price of its 3-month subscription plan starting August 21, 2022.

In an email sent to their subscribers, the price of their 3-month subscription will increase from P299 to P399. The new price will take effect starting August 21. For current subscribers, it will start on your next billing cycle.

Despite the price increase, the 3-month plan is still affordable, considering it breaks down to just P133 per month.

As far as we know, HBO GO’s per-month subscription is still P149. We’re not sure if it’s going to get a price increase, but we’ll update this post once we get more information.

Despite the price hike, HBO GO still has one of the best deals when it comes to streaming platforms. It’s cheaper than Amazon Prime and Netlfix’s plans. And while it doesn’t have as much content as the two, its roster of movies and TV shows is pretty good for the price, increase or not.
