Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G is coming to the Philippines

Xiaomi will soon introduce a new 5G smartphone to the Philippine market. The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G, which became official in July, is launching in the country on August 18, 2022.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite’s highlight feature is its massive 108MP main camera, backed by a large 1/1.52-inch Samsung sensor. The design is similar to the Xiaomi 12, sitting on a rectangular island alongside an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro shooters. Meanwhile, selfies are handled by a 32MP snapper.

Inside, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, configured with either 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, or 8GB + 256GB.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It also features a list of screen technologies, such as a 240Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+.

Pricing details have not yet been revealed, but its likely close to global prices of around USD400 for the 6GB + 128GB model (around ~P22,400), USD450 for the 8GB + 128GB model (~P25,100), and USD500 for the 8GB + 256GB model (~P27,900).
