‘The Rings of Power’ is now available on Amazon Prime Video in the PH

The Rings of Power is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video globally, including the Philippines. The first two episodes just dropped, each with over an hour of run time.

For those not convinced of Amazon Prime Video as of yet, this show could change your mind.

The Rings of Power is the highly anticipated prequel of the Lord of the Rings. Although its not directly related to the movie franchise, it takes place thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit, during the Second Age of Middle-earth’s history.

The show is billed as the most expensive show ever produced with Amazon reportedly spending over USD1 billion for five seasons. And it shows, with amazing cinematography and special effects.

It stars Morfydd Clark as Galadriel and Robert Aramayo as Elrond, with Ismael Cruz Cordova as Arondir, Joseph Mawle as Oren, Benjamin Walker as Gil-galad, Sophia Nomvete as Princess Disa, and more.

The Rings of Power is based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved fantasy novel series, and tells the story of the forging of the Rings of Power, the rise of Sauron, the fall of the island kingdom of Númenor, and the last alliance between Elves and Men.
