Design & Display

The WIKO T10 features a trendy design, reminiscent of other budget stalwarts like narzo and earlier realme entry-level phones. I do like how it looks, despite the plastic build. The textured matte back panel looks good and clean, and as an added bonus, it’s fingerprint resistant as well.

The phone has a good size with a 6.5-inch display and a body that measures 163.94 x 75.79 x 8.97 mm, weighing just 192 g. As a budget phone, it feels very well-made and very solid in the hand with no hollow feeling areas at the back. I really like how good the quality is, despite the relatively low price tag.

At the front, we have the 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with the waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, relatively narrow side bezels, and a thick chin, which is common to phones within the budget range.

The display itself is surprisingly nice. The colors look good with decent sharpness and clarity even though it’s just in HD resolution. It’s large and wide, too, making watching and consuming content a pleasant experience.

Both the volume rocker and power button are on the right side, which is what I personally prefer. I find it more convenient to fiddle with these buttons with just one finger, especially when its in landscape orientation while watching YouTube videos.

The right side has the nano-SIM tray. It has a dual SIM slot, but the second slot can either accommodate either a nano SIM card or a micro SD card, not both at the same time.

And at the bottom, there’s the headphone jack, a microphone, the USB-C port, and a single speaker.

Cameras

The WIKO T10 is equipped with a single 13MP primary camera. The layout, though, looks like there are two lenses. However, the other cutout is for the LED flash. The square camera island itself is small with a slight bump raised against the back panel. And in front, an 8MP shooter handles selfies and video calls.

The camera quality is on par with devices in the same price range which is about average. Sharpness and details are a little soft and the dynamic range is limited, but the overall quality is pleasant and would translate well on social media.

Selfies, on the other hand, are good. Skin tones are pleasant while overall sharpness looks decent.

Performance

The WIKO T10 is powered by a power-efficient Mediatek Helio A22, an entry-level chipset with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores, clocked at up to 2.0GHz. Our review unit comes with 4GB of RAM and a generous 128GB of storage, which isn’t that common on budget devices.

The phone runs on the trim and lightweight Android 11 Go Edition with the usual Google Go apps and not much else. It does come with an FM Radio, so you have that for free music.

On the connectivity side, the WIKO T10 has a single-band Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB-C port.

Wiko T10 Review

As a daily driver, the smartphone’s performance is again on par with phones with the same specs and price ranges. It’s okay for day-to-day use. You will get some lags here and there, but it’s not deal-breaking in any way.

Games like Mobile Legends, League of Legends, CODM, and PUBG Mobile are playable, just be practical when it comes to your graphics settings and remember to temper your expectations. You will get minor frame drops and stuttering, but otherwise, it’s manageable.

The single speaker is loud, by the way. It sounds thin with no mids or bass, but it’s okay for the occasional video.

As for the battery life, the 5000mAh battery can last a day with medium to heavy usage. Of course, your mileage will vary. While there are other devices with charging speeds faster than the 10W it came with, this does have the advantage of an updated USB-C port. It’s a big deal, considering every other budget device often comes with an outdated micro USB port.

Verdict

The WIKO T10 is a promising budget smartphone from the new brand WIKO. For a phone priced at just 6.5k, it has a good build quality with ample 128GB of storage, a USB-C port, and a huge battery, along with a practical display.
