Smart Communications delivered leveled-up customer experience and value-packed data offers in 2022, as it prepares for an even more “customer-obsessed” 2023.
“Customer obsession is putting our subscribers at the heart of everything we do as an organization. When we are obsessed with our customers, we go the extra mile to deliver our promise so they know and feel like they can always rely on us,” said Francis E. Flores, SVP and Head of Consumer Business Group-Individual at Smart.
“What would be key for us is to go for initiatives that provide the best value, while at the same time continuously providing our subscribers the best customer experience in order for us to thrive during these challenging times,” Flores said.
In 2022, Smart pushed for value-packed promos such as Double GIGA and Power All for Smart Prepaid and ‘Sulit Affordaloads’ for TNT subscribers, which offer more data at more affordable price points.
Smart also recently beefed up its Smart LiveStream App (previously Smart GigaPlay app), which enables Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, Smart Bro, Smart Infinity, and TNT subscribers to access exclusive live music and sports content and experience high-quality videos using mobile data.
Smart is also gearing up for the return of in-person live events with the launch of ‘Smart Live,’ which gives subscribers first dibs access to perks in concerts, sports events, parties, and other events. Open to all Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, Smart Infinity, Smart Bro, and TNT subscribers, ‘Smart Live’ gives customers privileges such as early ticket access, eligibility for discounts and raffle promos, express lanes, and other on-ground activities.
Powering all these activities is Smart’s wireless network, which was recently recognized by Ookla as the Philippines’ Fastest and Best Mobile Network in its latest report covering Q1-Q2 2022.
The Best Mobile Network citation has only been given by Ookla to approximately 20 mobile operators in the world, with Smart being the first and only Philippine mobile operator to clinch the award since Speedtest started in 2017.
To earn this citation, a mobile operator must lead in two crucial Ookla Speedtest Awards categories, namely Fastest Mobile Network and Best Mobile Coverage, within the same test period. Smart is also the fastest mobile network for Apple, Samsung, and Android devices, based on Ookla’s analysis of Speedtest Intelligence data for Q3 2022.
