MMDA: Private vehicles are allowed to use all lanes on EDSA-Ayala Southbound

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that private vehicles are now allowed to use all lanes on EDSA-Ayala Southbound.

Motorists can now use the lanes previously reserved for buses, except for the bicycle lane located on the rightmost side.

The advisory was posted on MMDA’s official Facebook page. It writes “Private vehicles are allowed to use all lanes on EDSA-Ayala Southbound except the bicycle lane located on the rightmost lane.”

“Lanes on the service road are not exclusive for public utility buses since the EDSA Bus Carousel-Ayala loading and unloading bay was moved to the One Ayala Grand Terminal,” the agency adds.

In the meantime, the barriers separating the lanes are still there, which may cause some confusion to drivers.
