The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is warning the public about a phishing website pretending to be the official “May Huli Ka Ba” platform.
The National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT) under the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) found the phishing site collecting personal information, such as vehicle plate numbers.
Authorities, of course, are urging motorists not to click on suspicious websites or links should it come their way (via texts, PMs, or email). It goes without saying to always verify sources before entering any personal data.
The official website for checking traffic violations under the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) is mayhulika.mmda.gov.ph. Any other site asking for personal details should be avoided.

Since its reinstatement on May 26, 2025, the NCAP system uses CCTV cameras to monitor traffic violations across major roads in Metro Manila. Instead of direct apprehension by officers, motorists receive a mailed notice detailing the infraction.
To avoid penalties, motorists should follow traffic rules, observe road signs, and drive responsibly.
