PLDT Home Fiber subscribers are going to get another speed boost for 2023.
The telco is increasing the speed of its Fiber Unli plans for free, without any extra charge. This means you are getting more speed for the same price.

Meanwhile, PLDT Home is doubling the speed of its Fiber Plus plans. Fiber Plus Plan 1899, for example, will now come with 200 Mbps, double its previous offering of 100 Mbps.

I called PLDT Home’s Customer Service (171) to inquire if our Fiber plan already has the speed boost or if I needed to request it. I was informed that it would be automatically applied to existing plans. However, they only started implementing the new speeds on February 8. It is also being done in batches, so you might have to wait for a while if it’s not yet active on your plan. At the time of this article, we’re still on the old speed.
