Ahsoka made her live-action debut on the Disney+ series 'The Mandalorian'.

Disney recently dropped its latest teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action series Ahsoka during the Star Wars Celebration in London last April 7.

The Disney+ original series stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, set after the fall of the Empire. It follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

In addition to Dawson’s Ahsoka, the show will also feature several characters from the Star Wars Rebels animated series, including Sabine Wren played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Ghost pilot Hera Syndulla played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and the droid Chopper. We also get a glimpse of other Rebels characters such as Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn.

The teaser trailer also shows two Dark Jedi Baylon Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno) wielding orange lightsabers, an inquisitor, and more.

Seeing the characters from Star Wars Rebels shows Ahsoka could be a continuation of the beloved animated series. But I guess we have to wait and see where this leads.

The series is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is a co-executive producer.

Ahsoka will debut exclusively on Disney+ in August 2023.

Disney+ is available in the Philippines on both Android and iOS. Subscription starts at ₱159 per month for the Mobile Plan and ₱369 per month for the Premium Plan. Read here for more details.
