Beats has officially launched its latest flagship headphones, the Beats Studio Pro, which offer premium wireless noise-canceling, lossless audio, and spatial audio for PHP 18,990. The headphones are available in four colors: black, sandstone, deep brown, and navy.
The Beats Studio Pro is the successor to the Beats Studio3 Wireless, which debuted in 2017. The new headphones have been completely re-engineered to deliver the most powerful and precise sound quality ever from Beats. They feature a custom 40mm driver with a two-layer diaphragm, refined micro-venting, and 25% stronger magnets that reduce distortion to virtually zero. According to Beats, the distortion is up to 80% lower than the Beats Studio3 Wireless, providing increased audio fidelity.
The headphones also have an integrated digital processor that optimizes the final frequency response for a balanced sound profile that brings out the subtle details of any genre of music. It supports lossless audio via USB-C, which requires compatible content from supported apps and services.
The Beats Studio Pro also boasts two dynamic listening modes: active noise canceling (ANC) and transparency mode. ANC continuously monitors the ambient noise and creates a precisely-tuned filter to cancel it out, while transparency mode lets the user hear the sounds of their environment mixed with their music. The user can easily switch between the modes with a touch of a button.
One of the most impressive features of the Beats Studio Pro is spatial audio, which delivers immersive surround sound for music and movies available in Dolby Atmos. Spatial audio also features dynamic head tracking, which moves the sound field with the user’s head movements for a realistic experience. The user can even personalize spatial audio for their ears using their iPhones.
The Beats Studio Pro is compatible with both Apple and Android devices and offers a host of native features for each platform. For Apple users, the headphones offer one-touch pairing, “Hey Siri” voice assistant, Find My app integration, and over-the-air updates. For Android users, the headphones offer Google Fast Pair, Audio Switch, Find My Device app integration and Beats app for Android.
The headphones have a battery life of up to 40 hours without ANC or transparency mode, and up to 24 hours with either mode on. They also support fast charging via USB-C, which gives an extra hour of playback with just five minutes of charge.
The Beats Studio Pro is marked ‘coming soon’ on the Apple Philippines website, priced at PHP 18,990.
