Riot Games and XG to release exclusive track ‘UNDEFEATED’ for VCT Pacific 2024

The track is scheduled to drop globally on all streaming platforms on April 12.

Riot Games and hip hop and R&B girl group XG announced the release of their new single ‘UNDEFEATED’ for the VALORANT Champions Tour Pacific (VCT Pacific) 2024. The track is scheduled to drop globally on all streaming platforms on April 12, with the official music video premiering on the VCT Pacific YouTube channel.

This marks XG’s first foray into the gaming industry, following their single ‘WOKE UP’, set to release on May 21. The production of ‘UNDEFEATED’ was overseen by JAKOPS (SIMON), XG’s Executive Producer, who infused the song with XG’s signature confidence and vibrant colors.

XG Undefeated

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with XG on the creation of UNDEFEATED for VCT Pacific,” said Jake Sin, Head of VALORANT Esports APAC at Riot Games. “We hope the track will not only bring more hype to what will undoubtedly be a thrilling VCT Pacific season, but also demonstrate our commitment to our passionate community. It is the love and support from our fans so far that have encouraged us to seek more creative avenues for expression. We are grateful to work with XG to bring such a special track to life and hope our fans in the region and beyond will enjoy it as much as we do.”

JAKOPS (SIMON) shared his vision for the collaboration, stating, “Through this collaboration, I hope that everyone, including members of ALPHAZ as well as all players, will embrace the spirit of dreams, challenges, and never losing in competition, just like XG. I believe that the effort of artists on stage and the determination and effort of players striving for victory in matches are one and the same.”

VCT Pacific is a key league in the VALORANT Esports ecosystem, which includes VCT Americas, VCT EMEA, and VCT CN. Teams across these leagues compete for spots in global events like Masters and Champions.

Following the VCT Pacific Kickoff and Masters Madrid, teams are now preparing for Stage 1, running from April 6 to May 12 in Seoul, South Korea. The stakes will escalate in Stage 2, as teams vie for a chance to compete in VCT Champions 2024, the zenith of VALORANT esports, where the world champion title is at stake.
