ASUS unveils first Copilot+ PC with the Vivobook S 15, powered by Snapdragon X Elite

It’s the era of the Copilot+ PCs. ASUS unveils its first with the launch of the Vivobook S15 (S5507), powered by the Snapdragon X Elite.

Copilot+ PCs are today’s compact and powerful Windows machines, equipped with hardware capable of handling advanced AI workloads.

Leading the charge is the Snapdragon X Elite SoC, the world’s fastest laptop NPU that can achieve 45 TOPS. It is built for AI and features 12 high-performance CPU cores on a 4nm process node, an integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU.

As for the Vivobook S 15, the laptop is built around a stunning and spacious 15.6-inch 3K ASUS Lumina OLED display with a 2880×1620 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. It also has DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification and an average Delta-E < 1 for high color accuracy.

The laptop can be configured to up to a Qualcomm Adreno GPU, up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and Windows 11 Home or Pro. It also has an FHD IR camera for Windows Hello, Wi-Fi 7, a dedicated Copilot key, and a 70WH battery with a 90W charging brick.

The Vivobook S 15 also has a good selection of ports that include two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1, an audio combo jack, and a microSD card reader.

Pricing and availability details are yet to be revealed. However, there’s a big chance the laptop will be released in the Philippines. We’ll be sure to let you know once it does.
