X, formerly known as Twitter, announced that its Premium+ is now “fully” ad-free.

The social media network introduced subscription plans in October 2023. Among them is the Premium+ plan which offers no ads only on the For You and Following tabs.

This time, however, X posted on, um, X, that its Premium+ plan has been changed to include removing all ads anywhere on X.

Aside from the upgraded “ad-free experience,” it includes everything in the Basic plan, plus additional features such as a larger reply boost, access to Creator Hub, a verification checkmark, access to optional ID verification, and the ability to write and publish rich-text articles directly on X (only for the web version).

X’s subscription plans include Basic, Premium, and Premium Plus. They are available in the Philippines. Should you decide to subscribe, the plans are cheaper on the web than mobile.

The reason, according to the X FAQ, is app market fees on both Android and iOS, which are passed on to the customers.
