HUAWEI launches FreeArc: Their first open-ear TWS

HUAWEI has launched the FreeArc, alongside the tri-fold Mate XT and the productivity-focused MatePad Pro 13.2-inch 2025, at the HUAWEI Innovative Product Launch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is the brand’s first open-ear true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds with ear hooks.

The FreeArc features an ergonomic and breathable design, reviving HUAWEI’s C-Bridge form factor while incorporating a 0.7mm high-performance nickel-titanium (Ni-Ti) shape memory alloy that molds easily to users’ ears.

It offers a 140-degree optimal triangle support for a secure fit, mostly covered with ultra-soft, skin-friendly liquid silicone for lasting comfort. It also comes with touch functions to answer calls and media controls.

The FreeArc is powered by a 17x12mm high-sensitivity driver unit, symmetrical acoustic structure, dynamic bass algorithm, and Adaptive Equal-loudness Algorithm for rich audio performance.

It is also HUAWEI’s first IP57 water-resistant earbuds and includes specialized water-resistant mics that keep rain and sweat out during intense activities like running, cycling, yoga, and more.

The HUAWEI FreeArc is available in three colors: White, Black, and Green. It is priced at EUR 119, which converts to around PHP 7,200 or USD 124. For more information on availability in your region, visit HUAWEI’s official website. It’s unclear if the TWS will make it to Philippine shores.
