Apple’s newest budget-friendly smartphone, the iPhone 16e, is officially available for pre-order in the Philippines. Starting at ₱39,990 for the 128GB model, the device can be reserved through Apple Premium Partner Power Mac Center, either in-store or online, from March 20 to March 27, 2025.
The iPhone 16e boasts a sleek form factor with flat sides and curved edges. It sports a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with an edge-to-edge design and a prominent notch that houses a 12MP TrueDepth camera and Face ID.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Apple A18 chipset and runs iOS 18. With this setup, users gain access to Apple Intelligence — an AI-powered feature suite that includes tools like the Clean Up tool, which removes distractions from images, and natural language search functions for the Photos app.
On the camera front, the iPhone 16e is equipped with a single 48MP Fusion sensor. The camera supports 2x telephoto, optical image stabilization, and delivers high-quality 4K recordings with Dolby Vision at 60fps.
The budget phone also comes equipped with the new Apple C1, the first cellular modem designed by Apple, although now this affects the handset’s cellular signal and speeds remains to be seen.
The device also has a USB-C port with data transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps. Additionally, it introduces a customizable Action Button.

The iPhone 16e is available in Black and White, with three storage options:

Pre-orders are open until March 27, 2025, through Power Mac Center’s physical stores and website.
