Riot Games Philippines has reopened registration for Liga Republika 2025, the country’s premier League of Legends (LoL) tournament.
This year, the stakes are higher: the winning team will qualify for the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) Wildcard Playoffs, giving Filipino players a shot at the regional stage.
First launched in 2024 as a grassroots league “by Pinoys, for Pinoys,” Liga Republika is now part of Riot’s promotion-relegation system under the LCP. This means local teams can now climb from national to international competition based on performance, not invitations.
Tournament Schedule
- Registration: June 18–30
- Open Qualifiers (Bo1): July 4–8
- Group Stage: July 10–13 (Top 12 teams)
- Playoffs: July 19–27
Semifinals: Best-of-Three
Grand Finals: Best-of-Five with Fearless Draft
The champion will earn the largest share of the ₱860,000 prize pool and represent the Philippines at the LCP Wildcard Playoffs, facing top teams from Southeast and South Asia. A win there leads to the Promotion and Relegation Tournament, the final step toward joining the LCP.
