Chrome for Android now lets you move the address bar to the bottom

This makes one-handed browsing easier and more accessible.

Google is rolling out a new feature for Chrome on Android that gives users more control over how they browse. Starting today, you can move the address bar from the top of the screen to the bottom, a small change designed to improve comfort and accessibility.

Accessing the browser tools at the bottom of the screen might feel more natural, especially for one-handed navigation. With the change, Google pushes toward a more user-friendly browser experience, where users can choose a layout option that matches their own preferences.

To change the location of the address bar, just long-press it and choose “Move address bar to bottom.” You can also go to Chrome’s Settings, tap “Address bar,” and choose your preferred layout — top or bottom.

The feature is rolling out and will be available to all Android devices in the coming weeks. It’s a quick adjustment that might make everyday browsing feel more intuitive, especially when multitasking or using your phone on the go.
