KiQ debuts as the Philippines’ first app-based digital telco

The first app-based telco, offering customizable plans and QR-free eSIM activation.

Smart Communications has launched KiQ, a new mobile brand built for Gen Z. It’s the first fully app-based digital telco in the Philippines, offering users a personalized mobile experience through the KiQ App’s Slider Interface.

Here, subscribers can customize their mobile plans to what they need. They can adjust data, call minutes, text limits, plan duration, and even choose their own mobile number. All this is done within the app.

Getting started is also an easy process. Just download the KiQ app, buy a ₱99 eSIM, and set up your plan of choice.

The service features QR-free eSIM activation, allowing users to install and activate their eSIM directly from their phone’s settings. After a one-time registration, the plan is ready to use.

KiQ also offers prioritized network access in busy areas, helping users stay connected during peak hours.

The KiQ App is now available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
