This will improve emergency response with faster coordination and smart technology.

The system combines police, fire, medical, and rescue services into one platform. It allows faster coordination between national agencies and local governments.

The Unified 911 technology includes live video streaming, GPS tracking, geo-fencing, and CCTV integration. It is hosted on ePLDT’s Pilipinas Cloud, which helps keep data secure and accessible.

PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan said, “At its core, this is a promise made by the government to its citizens. That in times of danger, Filipinos can call one number and find assistance and help. When lives are on the line, every second matters, and when lives are at stake, our sacred duty to our people crystallizes.”

The system will be rolled out in key areas across the country, including Manila, Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro, along with seven satellite centers. It also aims to reduce language barriers between callers and responders.
