Apple has launched the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the new M5 chip. It offers faster performance, better battery life, and upgraded AI features. In the Philippines, the base model starts at ₱99,990. The top-end configuration with all upgrades costs ₱214,990.

The M5 chip boosts graphics and AI performance. Apple says it’s up to 3.5x faster for AI and 1.6x faster for graphics compared to the previous model. It supports up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The display is a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR panel with a 3024×1964 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits peak brightness. It supports True Tone and ProMotion. A nano-texture option can be added for ₱10,000.
Battery life is rated for up to 24 hours of video playback and 16 hours of web use. Fast charging is supported via a 70W USB-C adapter.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a full set of ports: three Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C), HDMI, SDXC card slot, MagSafe 3, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Other features include a 12MP Center Stage camera, six-speaker setup, Touch ID, Magic Keyboard, and Force Touch trackpad. It runs macOS and comes in space black or silver.
