Apple’s October 13 event will bring new smart home lineup

Apple has set its October 13 event with the tagline “Welcome home,” confirming new smart home devices powered by Siri AI. The company is expected to unveil the HomePad, HomePod mini 2, and a refreshed Apple TV 4K.

The HomePad, also called Home Hub, will be the main highlight. It comes with a 6-inch square display and will be available in two versions. One is designed for desks or countertops, while the other can be mounted on walls. It has a built-in speaker base and a metal arm to hold the screen, making it flexible for different home setups.

Apple will also release the HomePod mini 2, the follow-up to the 2020 HomePod mini. This new model is expected to deliver better sound and deeper Siri AI integration, giving users more control over their smart home experience.

A new Apple TV 4K model is also part of the event. It follows the 2022 version and is expected to bring tighter Siri AI support. New features could include easier voice control and better connection with other smart home devices.
