Apple updates Creator Studio with new tools

Apple updates Apple Creator Studio with new creative and productivity tools across its apps, giving users more ways to edit, write, and collaborate.

Pixelmator Pro for iPad now has Select and Mask, making it easier to refine edges like hair or fur. Final Cut Pro and Motion add support for Cinematic mode effects, letting editors apply depth and focus changes straight to iPhone 18 Pro video timelines. Compressor also brings new export presets for social sharing.

On the productivity side, Keynote now has intelligent slide generation with tailored images. Pages adds Screen View for focused reading and writing. Numbers expands with new trigonometry, statistics, and logic functions. Freeform supports Dark Mode boards, folders, and better collaboration tools.

Apple Intelligence is built into writing tools, letting you rewrite, proofread, and summarize handwritten notes. Shortcuts can now automate content creation.

For visionOS 27, Freeform boards can be pulled into immersive spaces, letting groups view 3D models together. This adds a new way for teams to collaborate in mixed reality.
