realme has officially unveiled the realme GT8 in China. The flagship phone features a 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 7000 nits.
Under the hood, the GT8 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with the R1 graphics chip. It comes in multiple configurations: 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB using UFS 4.0.
The camera system is headlined by a Ricoh GR Imaging System. It includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical and up to 120x digital zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 16MP.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, stereo speakers, VC cooling, and the Sky Signal S1 chip for enhanced signal performance.
The GT8 runs realme UI 7 based on Android 16 and is available in white, green, and blue. It packs a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging, capable of a full charge in 45 minutes.

Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,899 (around ₱23,791 / $407) for the base 12GB+256GB model, with higher-tier variants reaching up to CNY 4,099 (₱33,640 / USD 575) for the top-end 16GB+1TB. Global availability is expected soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
