Sony has brought the A7 V mirrorless camera to the Philippines, giving local photographers and videographers a new option in the full-frame lineup.

The camera carries a 33MP Exmor RS CMOS sensor, now partially stacked for faster readout speeds, paired with the BIONZ XR2 processor and an AI chip for subject recognition and tracking.
The A7 V uses a full-time electronic shutter, allowing silent shooting and blackout-free bursts at up to 30fps. It also comes with 5-axis optical image stabilization and support for lightweight RAW files, making it easier to manage storage and editing.
For video, the camera records 7K oversampled 4K at 60fps and 4K at 120fps for smooth slow motion. It has built-in noise reduction for audio and a magnesium alloy body that keeps it durable but light.
The display is a 3.2-inch touchscreen with 4-axis adjustment, while the viewfinder is a 3.68M-dot OLED EVF.
Connectivity includes WiFi 6E for wireless control and USB-C for livestreaming. Battery life is rated at up to 750 shots using the NP-FZ100 pack.
