For those who want a free alternative to paid streaming or cable, Samsung TV Plus is expanding its lineup in Southeast Asia. The service is marking its first year in the region by adding 13 new channels to the platform, growing its catalog as more people turn to FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) for everyday entertainment.
Ten channels from A+E Global Media are set to launch in Singapore and the Philippines in early 2026. The lineup includes familiar titles such as Ax Men, Ice Road Truckers, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Duck Dynasty, I Survived, and Ghost. Modern Marvels and Evolution Earth round out the list with science and documentary content.
Samsung is also bringing in three channels from wedotv for Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand. wedotv sports will feature international events like horse racing, Asian Tour golf, and SailGP. wedotv movies will offer Hollywood and global films with local subtitles. Time2rlx will showcase 4K and 8K relaxation videos with ambient sound and nature scenes.
Samsung TV Plus has grown since its regional launch. The service expanded from more than 20 channels to over 230 channels in one year. It also recorded a 70% increase in monthly active users and a 125% jump in total viewing hours.
According to Samsung, the platform now reaches over 12 million unique viewers across 4.4 million Smart TVs in Southeast Asia.
